Mercy's Laboratory
is an important partner for physicians to help diagnose diseases
and treat medical illness. The pathologists and technologists who
invest their careers in the lab track down causes for illness that
are often invisible to other diagnostic procedures. The lab provides
inpatient laboratory testing 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Mercy offers an outpatient laboratory, a second floor drawsite,
as well as a Sutherlin drawsite for the convenience of patients.
Specialty areas include microbiology, hematology, chemistry, blood
bank, coagulation, and pathology.
