Ambulatory
Therapy Clinic
Mercy’s
Ambulatory Therapy Clinic (ATC) is located in the South Addition
of the hospital on the first floor. The clinic opened in Dec. 2001
in order to offer Douglas County residents an opportunity to receive
many hospital services on an outpatient basis instead of being admitted
to the hospital. The patients are cared for in a comfortable and
relaxing setting and released immediately following their treatment.
The ATC has seven patient
rooms, allowing seven individuals to be treated at one time. Patients
can be seen for both short- and long-term treatments, including:
- Wound care
- Blood transfusions
- Blood work
- Chemotherapy
- Remicade infusions
- Iron infusions
- IV therapies
- Multiple daily injections
- Lab draws from central
lines and mediports
- Refill and reprogramming
of implanted pain pumps (Synchromed pumps)
Debbie Boswell
is the clinic director at the ATC, as well as the clinic director
at the Mercy Health Clinic in Canyonville. If you’d like to
speak with someone at the clinic, please call 677-4394.
