P. Martin Daley Joins Mercy Medical Center’s Board

Mercy Medical Center is pleased to announce that 
P. Martin Daley, Chief Financial Officer for 
Roseburg Forest Products, has joined Mercy’s 
Board of Directors.  He will serve a three-year 
term. 
	
Martin graduated from Boise State University 
with a Bachelor of Business Administration, 
Accounting. He is licensed as a Certified Public 
Accountant. 

“We are very pleased that Marty has joined our 
board,” said Kelly C. Morgan, Mercy’s president 
and CEO. “He is an accomplished leader and has 
contributed to building a healthier community 
through volunteer work, most notably is his role 
on the executive committee for the Oregon Trail 
Council Boy Scouts of America.” 

Mercy’s board of directors include Bret Hansen, 
M.D.; Mark Herscher, D.O.; John Powell, M.D.; 
Joyce Aske, Dave Leonard, Gary McCormack, Kelly 
Morgan, Tom Davidson, Neal Brown, Amy Palm, Joe 
Wilczek; and Mercy’s Chief of Staff, Faye 
Ameredes, M.D. 
Mercy’s board members play an important role.  
As a governing board, they are responsible for 
ensuring that the hospital fulfills its mission; 
protects its assets; maintains a high standard 
of patient care; and conforms to legislation and 
standards set by regulatory and advisory 
agencies. Board members also help develop and 
update a strategic plan for the hospital, and 
monitor and evaluate plans or programs to ensure 
that they meet the hospital's priorities, goals 
and policies.
