Our multidisciplinary team approach helps you return to your highest level of productivity as quickly and safely as possible. This team approach includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, occupational medicine, rehabilitation nursing, speech pathology, case management, and psychology.

Our services are appropriate for acute and chronic painful conditions, such as neck pain, lower back pain, arthritis, hand trauma, head injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, stress, strokes, and swallowing disorders.

  • Helping evaluate the legitimacy of workers' comp claims;

The Back to Work Program helps to prepare the injured worker to return to duty by providing physical conditioning in a simulated work environment. Workers' compensation costs may be reduced by keeping the employee in the work environment at a safe and productive level while receiving beneficial therapy.

Physical Capacity Evaluations are performed to establish the worker's capabilities to perform a wide variety of physical functions. These may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing. In addition, an employee's range of motion is increased through flexibility, endurance, and strength exercises.

Accreditation: Mercy Institute of Rehabilitation is one of two facilities in Oregon accredited by Medicare as a Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility (CORF). This accreditation allows our comprehensive multidisciplinary team to serve our Medicare patients' rehabilitation needs.

Two Convenient Locations: MIR is located on Stewart Parkway in Roseburg (across from Office Max) and in Canyonville at 495 S.W. First in Canyonville. Complete outpatient rehabilitation services are available at both locations.
